No to Knurling
Guide does not have a knurled finish.
We know from experience that textured surfaces
(or knurling) provide less surface contact area when gripped
and act as a trap for soap residue which means they can
be more slippery. Knurling also creates an area that can
harbour bacteria. A consideration for older users is that
knurled surfaces are harder on fragile hands.
